Warning presents a collection of images shaped by paranoia, unease, and a lingering feeling of being watched.
What is Warning?
WARNING is a multimedia exhibition of various graphic design works, many for my personal music project, which I have created using the skills I’ve learned in my various design and DIMA courses during my college career.
Animation is a large part of Digital Interactive Media Arts, but it’s one of my least explored fields. I’ve always been fascinated by animated versions of still images, so I wanted to re-contextualize and re-frame a few of my best works into a somewhat themed, interactive portfolio.
A recurring theme in a lot of my artistic endeavors is a feeling of being watched, of never being totally alone. The goal of this exhibition is to put this on display and give viewers that same feeling, not just through the images, but through their animated versions as well.
About Me
Jair Battisti is a Digital and Interactive Media Arts student with an Art concentration. He has a strong passion for music and design and has experience using a large selection of creative applications such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Blender. Jair developed an appreciation for design through making his own cover art for his music. Jair has interned with WCSU's Marketing & Communications department to develop his skills in purpose-oriented design and photography. Jair is looking to pursue a career in UI/UX design after graduating.
